The Modern Day Map Tiles set expands our original Dungeon Map Tiles set. Now you can create modern urban street scenes, and map out the interiors of houses, shops, and industrial workshops.

Game Master’s can build an adventure map for their players to explore, by placing map tiles (usually depicting a specific 5ft by 5ft area of terrain) onto the digital canvas one by one until the desired urban setting is constructed. Each map tile is a combination of hand-drawn artwork and photographic source material that gives us the unique style of all Studio WyldFurr map tiles. All of the tiles have been rendered from a bird’s eye view of the landscape, with shadowing used to give the illusion of depth.

This map tile pack provides you with a wealth of assets that all look like they belong together with the same artistic “look and feel” to them. Use them to assemble a map layout of almost any complexity. The small tiles in Studio Wyldfurr sets provide very granular control of the layout. The trade-off is that assembling maps will take longer than it would with other Add-Ons that provide larger tiles.

In this newly-updated asset collection, we’ve separated the walls from the floor tiles. This gives you far more flexibility when building your maps, since you can combine different wall types with different floors types (even from another tileset!) to create the exact wall-floor combination you desire. However, the “merged” assets from the original set are also still included, since they allow for faster mapping. The update also introduced new assets that were not in the original package, such as Concrete staircases, grunge tiles, a new blue carpet texture set of assets, and more.

Artwork Resolution (pixels per grid square): 180 (the Studio WyldFurr range of digital role-playing tokens and map tiles all use a standard scale of 1 inch to 3 pixels, which works out to 180 pixels per 5×5 ft. grid square.)

Note: This product is only usable in the MapForge software (v1.2.9 or higher). It is not a collection of stand-alone graphics, but rather a single, copy-protected file which requires a registration code for the content to be accessible to the MapForge software.
